1. I-T measurement
The software can set 2400 as a voltage source, measure real-time changes in current signals, dynamically monitor changes in current signals on the software window, and display current time and resistance time curves in real time. It can also be used as an electrochemical constant current meter.
2. V-T measurement
The software sets 2400 as the current source, measures the real-time changes of the voltage information to be measured, and displays the voltage time and resistance time curves in real time. It can also be used as an electrochemical potentiostat.
3. R-T measurement
The software sets 2400 as the resistance measurement mode, allowing for the selection of the range for resistance measurement. For small resistances below 100 ohms, the 4-wire method can be used for measurement, resulting in more accurate test results.
4. Ammeter mode

6. I-V, V-I scans (voltage, current)
The software supports scanning of current and voltage, and can be used for the I-V and V-I characteristics of material devices. The software can be combined into any scanning model, and the following are several commonly used models:
(1) Unidirectional scanning: Set the starting value, ending value, and step value of the scan, and the software will scan from the beginning to the end to complete the scan.
(2) Bidirectional scanning: The software scans from the starting value to the ending value, and ends after scanning from the ending value to the starting value.
(3) Hysteresis loop scanning: The software starts from 0->positive ZUI value, positive ZUI value ->negative ZUI value, negative ZUI value ->0 and ends.
(4) Uneven type: For example, the overall voltage can be set from 0V-10V, with a step size of 0.5V between 0V-5V and 0.1V between 5V-10V.
(5) Custom type: Users can freely combine scanning intervals and do as they please.
For any subinterval, the step size and clamp value can be set arbitrarily, and the measurement accuracy is equivalent. For devices with different positive and negative conductivity characteristics such as diodes, it is easy to measure.
I-V and V-I scans can be set to infinite cyclic scanning, and the interval of cyclic scanning can be set.
Scanning can be set to display as absolute, inverse, or logarithmic values.
7. Multi stage current/voltage output
The software can set the output of N different current/voltage levels, and each level can set the output value, threshold, output time, range and other parameters arbitrarily. The number of cycles can be set arbitrarily. This function is used for data of any N-level waveform, and the graph is displayed in two parts, with the measured value at the top and the waveform output value at the bottom. This function can also be used for multi-level current and multi-level potential measurement in electrochemistry.
8. Solar cell measurement:
This software has built-in solar cell IV testing function, which can set the sample area, irradiance, ambient temperature, unique temperature, and measurement correction factor settings (more accurate results). The software can automatically determine the forward and reverse nature of the test data (from small to large, from large to small), and can calculate the measurement results (short-circuit current, open circuit voltage, ZUI high power, conversion efficiency, fill factor, etc.). At the same time, it automatically locates the ZUI high power point on the graph.
Solar IV measurement can be set as a cyclic measurement, which can be used for battery stability or aging measurement.
9. Temperature measurement:
This software has a built-in PT100 standard measurement curve, so temperature can be directly measured. At the same time, the function is carefully set to avoid PT100 thermal effects and measurement errors caused by improper settings. The standard segmented curve method is used to obtain temperature, and its measurement accuracy is much higher than the approximate formula fa.
10. Function combination
Each of the above individual functions can be measured separately or combined in any order, so these functions can be used for user-defined programming. The number and order of tests for each function can be set freely, and the applicable scenarios are as follows:
(1). Can automatically test two samples at once: Due to the 2400 source meter having two panels, samples can be connected to both the front and back panels to establish two steps for the same testing method. After testing the samples connected to the front panel, the software automatically switches to the back panel for the measurement of the second sample, and the entire process does not require manual intervention.
(2). Pre treat the sample before measurement: for example, the IV curve or discharge curve can be measured after charging the battery for a period of time.
In short, by making good use of the combination of functions, you can customize your 2400 and create your own "virtual instrument".
11. Software usage features
Software measurement parameters can be saved, modified, and edited. Each user can create their own parameter setting file. The software automatically opens the last measurement parameter when starting and automatically remembers the file name when exiting, making it convenient and fast.
